Updating a Vessel's Status After Accepting an Operator's Charter Offer

To avoid scheduling conflicts and to give boat owners greater control over charter details, HubLink requires boat owners update a vessel's status even after accepting an operator's charter offer. In other words, accepting an operator's charter offer doesn't automatically change a vessel's status to "hired."

To update a vessel's status after accepting a charter offer, please do the following:


  1. Visit the "My Vessels" screen.


  2. Scroll to the vessel you've agreed to charter, and click the "Availability" status button.


  3. Change the vessel's status to "Hired," enter the relevant details from the offer you accepted, and then click "Send."
