To avoid scheduling conflicts and to give boat owners greater control over charter details, HubLink requires boat owners update a vessel's status even after accepting an operator's charter offer. In other words, accepting an operator's charter offer doesn't automatically change a vessel's status to "hired."

To update a vessel's status after accepting a charter offer, please do the following:
- Visit the "My Vessels" screen.
- Scroll to the vessel you've agreed to charter, and click the "Availability" status button.
- Change the vessel's status to "Hired," enter the relevant details from the offer you accepted, and then click "Send."
